About Us
Manuia means good luck in Samoan. Joe (our small business owner and leading landscaping expert) came to Maui from Samoa many years ago and chose to name his company Manuia in celebration of his good fortune.
Joe’s good fortune began when he moved to Hawaii for school and met his amazing wife, Miki. Together they have 6 kids and 2 grandbabies. Joe created this business in 2005. He wanted more freedom to be present in his kids’ lives while still providing for their needs. With lots of hard work and grit, he made his dream a reality. He finds a lot of purpose in offering his landscaping services and expertise to the community while supporting his family and providing work opportunities to his team.
